Imagine’14 – A Micro-SFP Competition (just for fun!)
We cordially invite you to write a very short story, proposing a new type of product related to intelligent environments technology. Your challenge is to think of an idea for a new product and motivate it in 25 (or less) words (called a micro science-fiction prototype or micro-SFP). Generally there are three components to such a story; the technology, a simple action and a person. It is difficult to convey an idea in just 25 words, so don’t treat this like an examination or a paper, it’s supposed to be quick and fun!
Intel has kindly donated 10 copies of their book “The Tomorrow Project Anthology” to the odds of a prize are favourable but submit your entry to the IE’14 front desk by no later than midday on the 3rd of July 2014! More information on writing Micro-SFPs is available for our website at: http://www.creative-science.org/activities/microsfp/
